About the Event
Yoga, the word, means not just the practice of yoga, but yoga itself: union, the psychospiritual state of complete integration.
It is both our birthright and our natural state. In this class, we will practice asana (postures)and study philosophy. We will balance effort with surrender, balance with ease, and discipline with rest.
In all levels of class, we will dance, sweat, play, move, and create in order to deeply inhabit our beautiful human forms to bring more balance and peace to our lives and the world we live in.
Props needed: yoga mat
Props suggested: Blocks or books, strap or towel, blanket
Review for Natalia’s yoga class "I took Natalia’s yoga class as part of a spiritual retreat in the San Francisco Bay Area and became a devotee after just one class! I’ve practiced yoga for years and experienced many teachers – I’m here to say, Natalia is the best of the best. Her passion for the practice is matched by her knowledge of the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga. Natalia put together a fabulous sequence including traditional vinyasa, breathing, meditation, chanting, and even some core strengthening. A fabulous musician, Natalia paired the class with the best sound and strong yet humble “stage” presence. Natalia is an enthusiastic student of life and brings so much more to the experience than “just a yoga class.” She had my full attention, cuz I didn’t want to miss a move or a wise- message. An hour on the mat with Natalia and I was a new woman. I plan to be a regular in her class." -Joy MacPherson , Livermore, California , Sandia National Laboratories Health Promotion Coordinator
