Yoga with Natalia

Yoga, the word, means not just the practice of yoga, but yoga itself: union, the psychospiritual state of complete integration.

It is both our birthright and our natural state. In this class, we will practice asana (postures)and study philosophy. We will balance effort with surrender, balance with ease, and discipline with rest.

In all levels of class, we will dance, sweat, play, move, and create in order to deeply inhabit our beautiful human forms to bring more balance and peace to our lives and the world we live in.

Props needed: yoga mat

Props suggested: Blocks or books, strap or towel, blanket

About Natalia

Musician, painter and educator Natalia Zukerman resides, writes, plays, teaches, and paints in the Hudson Valley. Having released eight independent albums on Weasel Records and her own label Talisman Records, Zukerman has toured internationally as a performer since 2005. Alongside her touring career, Zukerman continues to teach songwriting and guitar, paint private and public murals and portraits as well as illustrating books.

In 2017, Natalia became a Cultural Diplomat through the State Department touring throughout Africa with her trio, The Northern Lights. This 2021-2022 season, Natalia will once again serve as a Cultural Diplomat (this time virtually!) with the band Raining Jane, teaching, performing, and exchanging ideas around the world!

The artistic director at SoulCall Global, Natalia is also a certified yoga teacher and life coach and is thrilled and honored to practice yoga with our community!
