Peregrine Trio delivers jazz and funky pop with ease and excellence. They boast of a collective 35 years of experience in the midwest music scene between all members. Fronted by soul queen, Jesse Powers, and backed by guitarist, Ryan Hall, and pianist and organist, Tiberius Shields, their sound is alluring and compelling. Jesse's vocal command has awarded her attention of audiences across the United States. Audiences will surely find themselves singing familiar jazz standards at the top of their lungs, and dancing to pop classic grooves.

Ryan Hall has one passion: music. Songwriting, studio engineering, live mixing, record production, and extensive live performance highlight his portfolio of experience. Ryan’s playing has been described as joyfully creative, and coupled with his love for collaborating with local artists, has afforded him the opportunity to participate in 12 full length studio records with various Midwest bands, and many other projects aside. From jazz to traditional Irish to funk to indie rock, Ryan’s musical sensibilities span a wide spectrum of styles

Jesse Powers is a touring singer/songwriter with a knack for stylistic versatility. She can be seen performing her original folk pop music at venues across the country, as well as with Jesse Michael Barr under their folk duo, Jesse + Jesse. She has made cameos with several bands in town, including the famed Columbus Irish group, The Drowsy Lads, and the yacht rock sensation, Yachtopia. Her song “The Love Song of Everything” was a finalist in the 2021 Great American Song Contest and was nominated for a Positive Music Award in 2022.

Alex Shields is a Northeast Ohio native with a curiosity towards music. He has been playing music for most of his life and has cultivated a desire to continue exploring different genres and collaborating with others. Having a heritage of being half Japanese, he enjoys to discovering language, culture, new music, and ideas.
